Chapter 1: The Gathering Storm
Striding across the temple courtyard, Azakiel was surprised a renegade Battle Sister and took two bolt pistol shells to the chest.

Stumbling to his feet, Azakiel chased after the fleeing Battle Sister, who turned and loosed off two shots from her bolt pistol, both missing the mark. Azakiel drew his bolt pistol and fired off two round, both off which struck home although only one penetrated her armour.
Both fighters quickly closed, but Azakiel's ferocious attacks and skilled parries dropped the battle sister to the floor before he could sustain any further injuries

Azakiel continued on towards his original destination, when he sensed the battle sister following. Turning, he fired off two shots, one of which was dodged, while the second peirced the sisters power armour. Reylena retaliated with two shots of her own, but to no effect. Reylena charged towards Azakiel, who ineffectually struck at her, although her attacks had just as little effect. Azakiel and Reylena disengaged from combat, stepping back to gain some space.
Reylena fired two shots off at Azakiel, to no effect. Azakiel replied in kind, blasting Reylena from her feet. A shard of Reylena power armour spun off from the impacts and struck her in her left eye, blinding her.

Nearing his destination, Azakiel caught sight of someone following him wiht laspstol drawn and a sniper rifle slung on his back. He turned and let off two shots. The assassin dodged the shots bt in doing so messed up his own aim and completely missed with his laspistol. Azakiel charged ta him and cut his down, with the assassins own attack glancing off his armour

Having subdued the misguided assassinm Azakiel continued on his way only for the Heretic Battle Sister to step into his path with a bandage around one eye. He quickly fired off two shots, one of which penetrated her armour. Her return shots flew wide.
Charging forward, Azakiela strcuk out at Reylena who returned in kind, although all their blows had no effect. They split apart, Azakiel aiming his bolt pistol as Reylena fired off two shots, one of which seemingly enchanted punched through his armour with greater force than normal. The impact perforated his right eardrum. and he fell to his knees.

Having returned from the medical station, Azakiel came upon an ork Nob standing in the road, bellowing in fury. He quickly loosed off two shots,one which flew wide, and the other bounced of the Nob's armour. Bellowing in fury, Grazdreg loosed off an ineffective shot and charged forward, choppa swinging. Seeing the strikes coming, Azakiel dodged all but one strike, which he caught across his chainsword. In reply, Azakiel swung his chainsword to deadly efficiency, chewing a large hole in his armour. Grazdreg stumbled backwards, firing wide with his slugga. Azakiel replied with two shots, one punching through Grazdreg's armour and dropping him to the ground.

Knowing Grazdreg from years before, Azakiel realised that he would soon regain consciousness, and come after him. So he waited at the corner of the road, bolt pistol trained on him. As he stumbled to his feet, Azakiel stood up and squeezed off two rounds at the Ork. unfortunately it bounced off one of the still intact pieces of armour that the Nob was wearing. Grazdreg raised his slugga, but being the incompetant ork that he is, he missed. In fury he charged forward, screaming his battle cry. most of his hits flew wide, but one cut into Azakiel's armour. Azakiel again swung with deadly efficiency cutting another hole in Grazdreg's armour. stepping back out of reach,
Azakiel raised his bolt pistol and put another shell into the Ork's chest. "Repent or Die, Xenos", Azakiel intoned as he reloaded his pistol, "Or, considering the Xenos may not repent we will just have to settle with death"

"Foolish Greenskin" Azakiel muttered as Grazdreg once again stumbled to his feet, raising his slugga and quickly loosing off a shot at Azakiel, which bounced off Azakiel's superior armour. Azakiel returned fire, but failed to injure the ork. Charging forward, Grazdreg swung his choppa with fury. Azakiel sidestepped one blow and caught another across his chainsword, although one blow cut into his armour. In return, Azakiel drove his chainsword into Grazdreg's chest, cutting into the Ork's skull, and drawing blood. Grazdreg strumbled backwards and fired off two shots, but the blood obviously obscured his already poor vision, meaning that his shots flew wide. Azakiel smiled, and fired another two shots, one of which was dodged by Grazdreg, altohugh the Ork's movement meant that the second shell puched straight through his flesh, through an already existing hole in his armour

After subduing the ork again, Azakiel came upon a Dire Avenger, an Eldar Aspect Warrior, who immediately loosed of a pair of shots from his shuriken catapult. Azakiel dodged one, while the other failed to even dent his armour. Quickly raising his bolt pistol, Azakiel fired off two shots before readying himself for close combat. Heydu dodged the first shot, but the second punched through his armour. Azakiel recieved the Avenger's charge, parrying two of his strikes, while the third puched through his armour. As the blade cut into his flesh, he felt a wave of psychic energy flow into him, leaving him momentarily stunned. Stepping back, Azakiel fired off two shots, although only one connected, and failed to penetrate the Aspect Warrior's armour. Azakiel was again charged by Heydu, whose attacks were not a well directed as before, failed to inflict any injury. In reply, Azakiel sent his chainsword cutting across the Avenger's torso, but again Heydu's armour protected him from harm. Azakiel lunged forwards again, but failed to land any significant blow. In reply, Heydu again swung his Diresword, cutting two rents in Azakiel's armour and dropping him to the floor
