In light of the survivability of To5 characters effecting the results of dueling (especially those damned To5 Sv3+ characters), the following are rules meant to Agile: whilst duelling characters with toughness 5 ,characters with a toughness of 3 or lower count as "agile" and receive a 4+parry/evasion roll rather than the usual 5+parry/evasion roll. when using armour or any equivalent to armour granting them any form of a save of 3+ or better ,or if they have any form of bionic/ibb/wbb save they are not "agile" anymore. All Tau ,except the Ethereals, NEVER count as agile. In addition "agile" characters with an Initiative of 6 or more receive a +1bonus to their priority-rolls. Orks get the following rule to be used instead of agility if the ork player so decides when creating his character. [glow=green,2,300]"we're just 'arder" orks receive a single 4+ ignore wounds roll versus characters with toughness 5 or more.agile characters can't take use of the "we're just 'arder"rule[/glow] So all To3 or less people (except certain tau) and orks can add these to their profiles of no added cost (at the moment) Nefedit: these rules can be found in the duelling rules right at the chapter character creation, too, and in the section for ork packages. eotaftermath.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=retiredrules&action=display&thread=1095019913 eotaftermath.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=retiredrules&action=display&thread=1103577416

So the whole agile thing doesn't affect most of the Eldar Apect guys and SoB correct?
And how does this solve the problem about s3 characters only wounding a 6 and then the whole 3+ sv

the thing is To5 characters are meant to be tough to kill, making them easier to kill wouldn't be right. However, with the bulkof To5 having 3+saves they are so hard to kill, the lesser folk really need to be able to survive longer to be able to wound/kill and get XP.
I have it on good authority (namely nef's) that there are allot of weapons which make it easier to wound in CC, or at least good guns available to the characters which wound easily.
We will try and insure that every package has at least option like that (although it will likely cost a bit), and then its the decision of the player to equip them with it or not. (Skills might include having +1 to wound or something, with the new point system we might have so we will try and balance it out).
